THE DEPRESSIONIST

Fri Feb 16, 2007, 10:13 PM
well... lately my life has been sinking deeper and deeper into shit. im pretty sure alot of people are giving up on me or have already given up on me. Even my own to brothers seem to have given up hope. i can't go to them for this anymore. They won't support me if i make certain choices... one of them says he'll help me, and he even promised me he would because i gave him the best gift i could ever give him: the love of his life. he can't help me now. i think he's given up. i dont have anyone to talk to anymore...

it's driving me insane!
GOD I FUCKIN HATE LIFE RIGHT NOW!!!

its been a long time since ive been on DA! But I've just popped back in to announce my progress on my novel "Marcellona".
Yes! Its official! It will now be made into a novel. Not to be published just yet, "Marcellona" is still yet unfinished. and is only a chapter away from completion.

the second piece of news is that I've decided to write a prelude novel to "Marcellona" called "Diamond in the Ruff". It will tell the story of a character in "Marcellona" and where she got her beginnings.

next, my attempt at making an entirely new novel from scratch with new characters and an entires new plot and theme failed miserably. But as i thought about it more, i realized that it was better off not being a novel, and instead being a collection. A collection of poetry, short stories, thoughts, quotes, memories, songs, and small personal interviews. I've christened it "The Last-September Project". It is meant to portrait the lives of numerous people from point A to point B in their lives. One of the characters will play a vital role in the story by tying together all of the little stories. I just hope it will go alright in the writing process...

Next...

Currently, my freewebs website is extended across four sites, and has over 60 pages of poetry and stories. These sites as a group are called "The Story...". I know, not a very original name, but i don't really care. Each site is also labeled with numbers (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4). Ive decided that instead of keeping them online and risking deletion due to inactivity and no visitors, i will just write all of them down into a notebook and keep them with the rest of my written stories.

and finally, the last piece of news for tonite is this...

The first novel or book i finished was in eighth grade. I was about 14 years old then. I started writing it in sixth grade when i was about 12 years old. I went through multiple drafts and versions. I titled it "The Shores". It was probably my most extensive writing project to date.

Three years after the completion of "The Shores", I'm still writing stories and i am almost finished with my second novel "Marcellona". I already have two more books in the works ("Diamond in the Ruff" and "The Last-September Project") and one ongoing project ("The Story...") in the making. Perhaps this is why i have writers block for "Marcellona"...

Well, I'm off! I'm very excited about all of this and i hope this all works out!

Until Next Time,
Jay

ok, i guess it's ok for me to put up the links to my websites. there are three of them because freewebs will only allow 20 pages and links for one site. so i improvised and made 3 of them. i'll be adding another when the third gets filled, etc...

so here they are....
